目錄

Abstract

This IDC study assesses the challenges for pure-plays in Canada. The pure-plays, such as TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, are on the verge of breaking into the ranks of the largest top 20 worldwide outsourcers. These firms are extending their infrastructure model to Canada and rapidly filling in gaps such as consulting and vertical expertise in their capabilities. IDC believes that these moves to build credibility and drive sales pursuits, coupled with the interest in outsourcing and offshoring, positions the global outsourcers as a competitive force in the Canadian infrastructure market.

"There is now a race around the world as the India- and West-based vendors rapidly expand their infrastructure footprint. The new battleground is Canada," says Mark Schrutt, director of Strategic Sourcing at IDC Canada.
