Methodology

Interconnection measures the total sales at trading prices excluding VAT and rebates per branch for the distribution channels within the analysed time frame. Hence, the total market is covered and the shares of the distribution channels become apparent.

Companies which are not able to cooperate are determined by expert interviews, data bases, bank inquiries, supplier information and other sources. In the majority of cases this data is submitted to the companies for annotation and authorisation. Estimated companies are disclosed in the reports.
