Research and Forecast of China Oral Care (Dental) Industry, 2014 primarily emphasizes on the overall development of oral care industry in China, especially highlights and analyzes the key private oral care chain businesses.

Huidian Research holds a view that medical service industry will still belong to sunrise industry for a long time in the future, so specialized medical fields such as dentistry will develop into the advantaged industries on account of consumption upgrade and comparatively loose policy environment.

With the improving of consumption ability and awareness in China, China's oral care market is on its surging development stage; orthodontics, dental implant and other high-end businesses serve as major impetuses driving the rapid growth of dental market. The annual growth of oral care market has surpassed 20% in China, and it is projected that the market scale of China's oral care had generated CNY 10.3 billion in 2013, according to statistics on some large dental hospitals conducted by Ministry of Health.

Huidian estimates that China had around 350 dental hospitals in 2013 that account for larger proportion of market shares although the number is only about 350. While nationwide dental clinics were up to 50 thousand, accounting for smaller market shares.

Huidian Research believes that the main reasons why Chinese market develops rapidly are rising per capita disposable income, population aging and consistent penetration of universal education of dental health, driven by the policies encouraging private capitals to march into medical treatment fields, dental market is expected to show good development momentum. Currently parts of Chinese leading oral care chain enterprises have already stepped into brand expansion stage, and will enlarge oral care educational training scale and involve upstream industry chain, further being stronger and bigger.
