Abstract
This study examines the South African manufacturing execution system (MES)
market and provides an analysis from 2005 to 2015. MES in this study is
defined as a system that can collect and organise data from the production
floor in real time and send this data to higher business level systems.Revenue
analyses are provided for each product type and end-user segment. In addition,
the key industry challenges, market drivers and restraints are discussed in
terms of their impact on market developments during the forecast period.
