The US hematology market was sized using a bottom-up revenue model developed from the actual installed base of hematology analyzers in US laboratories, the data for which were collected through an end-user survey. The number of hematology analyzers installed by manufacturer and model were collected from a sample population of more than 4,000 sites. The sample population included hospitals, reference laboratories, and physician's office laboratories.
