Average Number of Global Platforms per OEM to Rise from 2.2 to 2.8 by 2025

Platform-based production has gained importance among truck manufacturers in recent years. It offers improved margins due to increased scalability, as well as multi-regional presence. Nearly half of the total number of heavy trucks produced globally will be platform-based by 2025.
