Abstract
The voice alarms market is still at an early stage of development in large
parts of the world and promises good growth potential. Although it was not
affected by a dip in 2009, it reacted with lagged effect in 2010 as
construction projects were put on hold and planned investments and expenditure
curtailed. North America was among the worst hit in the crisis. The market is
expected to recover in North America and Europe in the near future and 2011 to
deliver growth. Asia-Pacific is expected to be the leading growth region
during the forecast period as economies develop and newer technologies
penetrate this market.
