This research study examines the various investments that have happened in the
healthcare industry over the years 2008-2009. The investments are broadly
classified as Equity, Debt and Loans. The study analysis the trends in the
investments, and also sub-classifies the investments by Time, Geography,
Proceeds, Volume etc. This study is expected to be of great value add to the
investing community and the corporates who are looking at different trends in
the healthcare industry and also to analyse the effect of recession on this
defensive industry.
