This IDC Energy Insights study presents business process reengineering (BPR),
which is discussed so frequently that a variety of interpretations
can be attributed to it. Organizations in the past have
embraced BPR as a transformation route to improve efficiency and
operational excellence. IDC Energy Insights studied the core process transformation
at Veolia in Australia, a waste management services company, to
understand the role of innovation that brought about a fundamental
change in the way it managed and optimized its business
processes.

and customer service standards, and also ensure that the initiative
