Abstract
The touch screen technology market sharply grows as the application expands to
consumer electronics such as mobile phones, PDAs, and navigations. The use of
strong materials to safely protect displays screens from various scratches and
shocks and to offer clean screen at all times draws attention of users. A
representative example is Corning' s Gorilla Glass which is used in a cover
plate of smartphone.
Such tempered glass emerges as a differentiating element of touch screen
technology and its application expands in the display field. Accordingly,
Displaybank analyzes the key patents in the touch panel-use tempered glass
