In 2016, the top 50 European players account for more than 50% of the lighting fixtures market. In a five years span, market share is growing for Philips Lighting, Osram, Schréder, Trilux, Fagerhult, Eglo, iGuzzini, Flos, Nordeon, Thorpe, Xal, Briloner.

Average EBITDA in the lighting fixtures industry in the EU16 countries is around 8%. The contract lighting market in Europe worths around 3 billion Eur.

LED lighting fixtures weighted just 5%-6% on the overall lighting fixtures market in 2008-2009. In 2016 LED based fixtures weight around 55% on the overall lighting fixtures market, and their share is forecasted by CSIL to grow up to 80% by 2020.
