Turkish retail sales grew from TRY281.1 billion in 2009 to TRY373.5 billion in 2014 at a CAGR of 5.8%. Food and grocery was the largest category group accounting for 55.4% of total Turkish retail sales, which represented a value of TRY206.8 billion in 2014. Total retail sales in the country is further expected to reach TRY510.1 billion in 2019 growing at a CAGR of 6.4% during the forecast period.
