South Korean retail sales grew from KRW235,028.5 billion in 2009 to KRW289,356.3 billion in 2014 at a CAGR of 4.2%. Food and grocery was the largest category group accounting for 52.1% of total South Korean retail sales, which represented a value of KRW150,729.8 billion in 2014.
