While enterprise was the original smartphone/Wi-Fi handset market, consumer
adoption has also experienced strong growth, largely due to the success of
Apple' s iPhone in the consumer market. Today, Wi-Fi has become a common
feature on most higher-end cellphones. A feature which was only introduced
several years ago is now becoming a standard in the cellular handset market.
