People have started buy better quality beer as consumer spending picks up. Due to more relaxed licensing off-premise sales have risen by 73%. Glass bottles have lost market share to cans which now take up most of the market share. 550 new breweries were set up during 2014 with most of them being microbreweries and brewpubs
