The BEMS global market is already worth some $3.7 Billion..Nearly half of total revenue is generated within the European Union, growing at 19% per annum, driven principally by the need to comply with legislative and regulatory measures. North America accounts for 25% of the world market, and its value has almost doubled since 2009, primarily driven by Federal and State-specific measures. Around half the BEMS value is generated by software implementation services and maintenance regulatory initiatives, addressing corporate social responsibility and green reporting commitments in the public sector and big business, and supply-side urge for "smart energy" solutions.
