今年為第3年舉辦，OSiM World 2008 是世界唯一 以行動專門共享資源(Mobile Specific Open Source)為主題之會議及展示會。

由於過去幾次OSiM會議的成功及成長，Informa Telecoms & Media已被包括在這個會議之中，用以滿足OSiM生態中，各企業之需求。大會在議程中精心安排各種交流時間，並提供有線上交流工具，確保參加者能夠在這個會議之中，充分利用時間。
