雲端運算討論會
生命科學研究開發的應用和進步

為提高因應生物醫學軟體環境的性能，許多的研究機關和小組正在建構地方運算資源（因應將來數據量增加的叢集運算（cluster computing）和儲存解決方案）。如果今後組織內對演算處理的需求高漲，這些資源就有可能無法充分因應。雲端運算是地方叢集運算和儲存解決方案的用戶能轉移到更有效率的新環境之技術解決方案。
生命科學關聯的組織和很多研究所，利用組織內外的雲端來共同合作和演算、因應儲存等需求。該討論會介紹創藥和藥劑設計、研究和合作、分子建模、下一代排序、蛋白質體（Proteome）、SaaS(Software as a Service)、生物情報學等領域實際的使用情況，亦採用生命科學領域的雲端運算利用形態、課題及有效性、節減經費效果、遵守法規等問題。請勿錯過這個能與意見領袖一起尋找作為外部IT服務及內部處理模式、能有效利用雲端運算方法的討論會。

Please note that due to limited speaking slots, preference is given to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, regulators and those from academia. Additionally, vendors/consultants who provide products and services to these biopharmaceutical companies are offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
