The Business Potential of Games On-Demand
Thursday, 7 June | 9:00 – 10:30
With customer churn at its highest, broadband service providers must look for new ways to dramatically reduce churn, increase ARPU, minimize setup costs, and promote the upselling of higher-speed access plans while staying at the forefront of cutting-edge services and technologies. On-demand gaming services have proven to effectively address all of these BSP challenges and help BSPs increase stickiness. With the trend of the "digital living room," a gaming service gives BSPs a high-margin source of additional income.

In this session, we will discuss the overall on-line gaming market and the current landscape of digital distribution of games for BSPs. Mr. Tzruya will provide an overview of delivery models, the changing landscape of digital distribution, how on-line gaming is integral to the digital living room, benefits to participants, and how new models—such as the cable television model—can be applied by BSPs.
