Peter C. Akerley is the President and Chief Executive Officer as well as a Director of Erdene Gold Inc., a public company listed on Canada's Toronto (TSX) exchange. He is a founding director of Erdene and has 20 years of experience in the mineral resource industry. He obtained a BSc. degree in Geology from Saint Mary's University in Halifax in 1988 and spent the next 10 years working on diverse mineral projects in Canada, United States of America, Mexico, Guyana, Indonesia, and the Philippines predominantly through his own consulting companies: Anian Resources Inc. and BRM Exploration Inc. From 1996-1998, Mr. Akerley was responsible for managing one of the largest modern regional exploration projects in Mongolia which led eventually to the creation of Erdene as a Mongolian exploration focused private company in 2002. He has worked extensively as a consultant to major and junior mining companies internationally. Mr. Akerley provides broad international mineral industry experience through his past management of a multiple international projects and mineral industry companies.

Charles A. Asubonten, Chief Financial Officer of Palabora Mining Company, was elected an executive director of the Palabora Mining Company (JSE: PALAMIN) board of directors on 27 July, 2006. Mr. Asubonten, formerly a finance executive at DTE Energy in Detroit, USA, joined Rio Tinto in 2006 with more than 15 years of increasing accounting and financial leadership experience from Fortune 500 companies including Ford Motor Company and The Dow Chemical Company. He started his professional career as an auditor with KPMG. Mr. Asubonten earned an MBA in finance and corporate strategy from the University of Michigan and a BBA in accounting from North Carolina Central University. Having served on numerous civic and community boards in the Detroit area, Mr. Asubonten is currently a member of the audit committee of Rossing Uranium Limited. He also sits on the Palabora Foundation board and is the Principal Officer for the Palabora Pension Fund. Mr. Asubonten is a Certified Public Accountant (USA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Mr Atherley graduated in mining engineering from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College in 1982 and has more than 25 years industry operating experience including periods with British Coal in the UK and Mount Isa Mines Ltd in Australia. He was Executive Director of the Investment Bank arm of HSBC Australia where he undertook a range of advisory roles in the resources sector. He recently retired from the position of Managing Director of an ASX listed and AIM listed mining company, a position he held since the company's flotation in 1994. During this period he completed a number of acquisitions and financings of resource projects in Australia, South-East Asia, Africa and Western Europe. Mr Atherley was appointed a Director of Leyshon Resources on 4th May 2004.

Mamadou Barry is a Senior Underwriter with MIGA, focusing on the Africa, Middle East and Asia regions. Since he joined MIGA, he has specialized in policy advisory services, investment promotion and political risk insurance. Prior to joining MIGA, he worked as a geological engineer with multinational mining companies operating bauxite mines in Guinea. He subsequently joined the staff of the Mineral Exploration Division at the Ministry of Mines of Guinea. Upon completion of his graduate studies in the United States, he worked as an associate consultant for several natural resource consulting and engineering firms in Colorado. He concurrently conducted specialized executive training and capacity building assignments in the areas of finance, natural resource and environmental management and investment analysis. He also taught graduate-level finance and economics courses at the University of Colorado. Mamadou joined the World Bank Group in 1993 and worked on industry and mining sector reform programs in developing countries. He was reassigned to MIGA in 1997, where he worked for both the technical assistance section and the guarantee arm. Mamadou received a minerals engineering degree from the Institute of Mines and Geology of Bokテゥ in Guinea, an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He also attended the Economics Institute of the University of Colorado, and the Graduate School of Business of the University of Denver where he specialized in Finance.

Stephen has accumulated broad experience as a geologist in mineral exploration, development and mining throughout Australia over the past 15 years. He has also applied his MBA to the management of exploration, resource definition and feasibility studies. Stephen joined Pima Mining the mid 1990s as an exploration geologist, supervising various exploration projects in gold and base metals on the Gawler Craton. Prior to this, he was part of the SA government's early exploration initiatives in the early 90's as an exploration geophysicist. As a mineral geophysicist, Stephen has also worked with BHP in South Australia and in the Pilbara in near-mine and in-pit iron ore exploration. Stephen was the founding Managing Director of Southern Gold in 2004 and is also a Non-Executive Director of Southern Uranium.

Mr. Bold Luvsanvandan was born in 1961 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. After finishing secondary school in Ulaanbaatar, he graduated from the Trade Union University Bernau in Berlin, Germany. Mr. Bold Luvsanvandan began his career as an instructor at the Central Council of Mongolian Trade Unions from 1983-1989. His work experiences also include Deputy Chairman/Secretary General for the Union of Mongolian students, Member of the State Baga Hural, first democratically elected Parliament of Mongolia. He was elected and worked as a Member of the State Great Hural Parliament of Mongolia from 1996-2000, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on the Promotion of Foreign Investment. From the years 2001 to 2004 Mr. Bold Luvsanvandan worked as Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Golomt Bank of Mongolia and President of the Mongolian Bankers Association from 2000-2005. From 2004 he was appointed by the Government of Mongolia as Chairman of the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia. Mr. Bold Luvsanvandan is active in a number of NGO positions. Chairman of the Mongolia-Germany Business Council, President of the Mongolian Athletes Federation, Board Member of French Alliance of Mongolia and Vice Chairman to the North East Asian Association. He speaks Mongolian, English German, Russian and French languages. In 2004 he was awarded the "Polar Star" order by the Mongolian President, 2006 the Federal Merit Order by the German Federal President.

Mr. Michael Carrick is a chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience in the resources sector. He was previously Executive Chairman of AGR Limited, the entity which owned and developed the Boroo Gold Project in Mongolia, and Chief Executive Officer of Resolute Limited, one of Australia's largest gold producers. Seamus has lived and worked in Shanghai and Beijing since 1994 and is one of the most experienced foreign lawyers in China. Seamus' practice focuses on the exploration, development and sale of natural resources. In recent years he has advised many international mining companies on investment in China for the exploration and development of gold, platinum, copper, molybdenum, nickel and energy resources. He has also advised major Chinese companies on investment in resource project in Australia, China, Africa, the Middle East and South America. Another area of Seamus' work is advising foreign investors on establishing foreign invested enterprises in China and providing ongoing advice to joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises. His corporate clients include multi-national corporations with interests in a range of industries in China such as resources, financial services, and manufacturing development. Seamus also advises foreign banks from Japan, Europe and Australia on a wide range of issues relevant to their lending business on both a transactional basis and more general operational issues. Major clients in the financial services sector include the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, ANZ Bank and Visa International.

Mr. Cosgrove joined AACI in May 2005 as Chief Financial Officer and assumed the role of CEO in November 2006. Before that he was a Director of NM Rothschild and Sons based out of Beijing. He acted for many mining companies and concluded a number of mining related deals for clients. Prior to that, Michael was one of the founders of Sino Mining International (now Sino Gold). The majority of Michael's career however was with Macquarie Bank for Macquarie Corporate Finance. Alex Davidson is EVP, Exploration and Corporate Development with responsibility for Barrick Gold's international exploration programs and corporate development activities. Prior to April 2005, he was responsible for Barrick's exploration strategy and programs as EVP Exploration. Mr. Davidson joined Barrick in October 1993 and under his leadership, Barrick's exploration efforts grew outside of North America and into Latin America and beyond. Prior to joining Barrick, Mr. Davidson was Vice President, Exploration for Metall Mining Corporation. Mr. Davidson has over 25 years' experience in designing, implementing and managing gold and base metal exploration and acquisition programs throughout the world. In April 2005, Mr. Davidson was presented the 2005 A.O. Dufresne Award by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum to recognize exceptional achievement and distinguished contributions to mining exploration in Canada. In 2003, Mr. Davidson was named the Prospector of the Year by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada in recognition for his team's discovery of the Lagunas Norte Project in the Alto Chicama District, Peru. He received his B.Sc. and his M.Sc. in Economic Geology from McGill University.

Mr Dugdale, graduated as a geologist with first class honours from the University of Melbourne in 1986, before joining WMC where he spent 7 years in exploration and mine geology in Western Australia and North Queensland. Jon then joined Mining Project Investors (MPI) in 1993, spending 12 years with the group in WA and then Victoria, responsible for project generation and management initially in WA, then Eastern Australia. During this period, a number of discoveries were made by the MPI exploration team including Silver Swan nickel deposit in WA and Golden Gift in Stawell. The takeover of MPI Mines saw Jon move to Leviathan Resources as Manager Exploration, responsible for building and managing the exploration portfolio in SE Australia. Jon joined the Lion Manager in July 2006 and will initially be focussed on the development and growth of Asian Lion.

Eric graduated in 1982 with a degree in Applied Geology from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. After work as an exploration geologist in Ireland and Turkey with NL Petroleum Services and as a field geochemist in Malawi with the British Civil Uranium Procurement Organisation, he joined the Geological Survey of PNG in 1984 as a regional geological mapper. Following five years of mapping in the Sepik River headwaters and on Bougainville Island, he joined Rio Tinto as project geologist responsible for copper and gold exploration in the PNG highlands based out of Sydney. In 1993 he was transferred to Vancouver as regional exploration manager for Western Canada and then in 2000 to London as the personal assistant to the head of Exploration. In January of 2002, he moved to Perth to assume the role of director of Exploration for Australasia and in January of 2007 was appointed head of Exploration for Rio Tinto based in London.

He is a geologist with over 20 years experience in gold and copper exploration, resource evaluation and reserve development in South East Asia, Central Asia and North America. He has played a key role in the discovery and development of two gold mines in Indonesia, including Avocet's North Lanut mine. He joined the Group as Chief Geologist in May 2002 following 12 years with Newmont Mining Corporation.

Dr Bart Follink was appointed Chief of CSIRO's Minerals Division in September 2004. Dr Follink's role is to guide CSIRO's research in mineral processing and metal production. CSIRO Minerals employs 320 staff across five Australian sites. Its mission is to double Australia's wealth from world-class minerals processing expertise by 2020 while drastically reducing environmental impact. Prior to taking up his current position, Dr Follink was Senior Director, Advanced Technology for Royal Philips Electronics based in Japan. Early in his career Dr Follink was awarded a Research Fellowship with the Ian Wark Research Institute at the University of South Australia, where he investigated mineral processing topics. Dr Follink studied at Wageningen University in the Netherlands where he completed a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in physical and colloid chemistry. He has credit for a range of patents, technical reports, invited conference papers and has produced more than 40 publications.

Karsten Fuelster is a Senior Investment Officer in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Chemicals Department at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. After four years with the Mining Investment Division in Washington DC, Karsten recently relocated to Jakarta where he is developing new business opportunities for IFC in the Oil & Gas and Mining Sector throughout Southeast Asia. His team is providing both Advisory Services and Financing with the objective of strengthening the long-term prospects of his clients and the sustainability of their mining projects typically located in challenging environments. Before joining IFC in the Syndication Department in early 2001, Karsten was Vice President with Dresdner Bank AG, in Project and Export Finance, Fankfurt, Germany. Altogether, he has more than 20 years experience in international corporate lending and credit risk assessment. He successfully worked on a large number of project finance transactions the most prominent of his mining related experience being Alumbreara, Argentina, Colahuassi, Chile, Mozal, an aluminum smelter in Mozambique; Glamis' Marlin gold mine project in Guatemala, Hernic Ferrochrome in South Africa, and an early equity investment for First Quantum's Copper tailings project in DR Congo. Mr. Fuelster holds a BA in Finance and International Business Administration from the European Business School, Germany.

Andre Gauthier has over 30 years experience in the mining exploration business and has a very high reputation as an international explorationist, and has been heading Maxy Gold activities for the last 3 years. Prior to Maxy, Andre headed Cambior's international exploration activities from 1989 to 2005 with the last 9 years focused in the Andes and Peru. He participated in the discovery of their "La Arena" gold deposit, among multiple other successes in acquisitions, discoveries and developments of gold, copper and base metal projects. Mr. Gauthier started his career as project geologist with Soquem for 2 years, then Falconbridge for 6 years where he was involved in the Lac Short gold mine discovery. After spending 3 years with junior explorer Noramco Inc. in Canada from 1986 as Exploration Manager from 1986 to 1989 he finally joined Cambior in 1989 until 2005. Mr. Gauthier was central in the creation and implementation of the Peruvian Stock Exchange, and is broadly experienced in the business and public company aspect of mineral resource exploration. M. Gauthier has been director of the Quebec prospector association, Director of the Peruvian mining society and president of the exploration and investment committee. He has been vice president of the Exploration committee at the Peruvian Canadian chamber of commerce and to various other organizations participating in promoting mining exploration in Latin America.

Mr Gordon was appointed to the Board of Emperor Mines Limited in April 2006. He has more than 10 years experience in senior management positions in the gold industry in Australia, PNG and Fiji. Most recently employed as Managing Director of Placer Dome Niugini Ltd and prior to that as General Manager of Porgera, Mr Gordon was responsible for the world class Porgera operation, the Misima operation and other corporate activities in the country. Mr Gordon also has many years experience in Fiji where he was previously employed by Emperor as Operations Manager of the Vatukoula Gold Mine and General Manager of Tuvatu Gold Mining Company Limited, a former wholly owned subsidiary of Emperor.

Mike Higgins graduated in 1971 from the University of NSW in Sydney, Australia with a BSc (Hons), majoring in Geology. From 1974 to 1994, he worked throughout Australia and different parts of the world for the Shell/Billiton Group companies at senior executive levels. This included a 3-year posting to Billiton's head office in The Hague where Mike coordinated new business development in Africa, SE Asia/Pacific and the Americas. He has experience in conceiving, managing and implementing successful exploration strategies worldwide, several of which have led to the discovery and commercial advancement of major gold resources. These include Mt. Todd (NT, Australia), Goldridge (Transvaal, South Africa), Poura/Larafella (Burkina Faso) and Agbaou (Ivory Coast), with a combined total in excess of 8 million ounces gold in resources discovered. The first two of these discoveries became operating open pit mines Mt Todd has since closed, while Goldridge is still being operated by Harmony Gold. The others are at pre-feasibility stage. In 1995, Mr. Higgins established Jandera Resources NL, an Australian unlisted public company, and secured funding and its West African gold exploration assets. Jandera was the subject of a public takeover in late-1997, and subsequent new owners explored its West Africa gold properties with some success, resulting in close to a million ounces in resource having been defined at Agbaou and nearby properties. In 1998, Mike established BSM Mining NL with co-directors Chris Rashleigh and Rolly Nice. This is a privately funded company involved in resource acquisition and development, and was instrumental in spinning off Goldcrest Mines Ltd, listed in Toronto, and Indo Gold Limited.

Mr. Clifford M. James, President and CEO of TVI Pacific Inc., is a geologist and business executive with over 35 years of technical and financial experience in the natural resource sector. His career has taken him throughout North America, Africa and Asia where he has held senior positions in oil and gas and mining companies. Since 1993, Mr. James has spearheaded TVI's activities in the Philippines. Notably, he is responsible for bringing on stream the Canatuan project, the first foreign invested, modern, full scale producing mine in the Philippines after the passage of the Philippine Mining Act of 1995. Richard Laufmann, 44, was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indophil Resources NL, an Australian-listed public company, on 28 May 2007. He is a mining engineer with extensive experience in underground mining operations, project and business development, and commerce. From 1986 to 2000, Mr Laufmann worked for WMC Resources Limited (formerly Western Mining Corporation) and held a number of managerial positions, including manager mining at Kambalda nickel operations, general manager St Ives and general manager gold operations. Mr Laufmann was also project study manager for WMC Resources at the Tampakan Copper-Gold Project (southern Philippines) in which Indophil now holds rights to a 37.5% interest, with Xstrata plc as the 62.5% owner and project manager. In 2002, Mr Laufmann was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ballarat Goldfields NL. Until his current appointment, he was a Non Executive Director of Indophil. He is immediate past Chairman of the state council of the Minerals Council of Australia Victorian division.

Dr. Ling has in-depth and extensive experience in financial institution and enterprise management. Holding a professorship at the school of management of the Harbin Institute of Technology, he is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants of the United Kingdom and is a fellow-professional accountant of the National Institute of Accountants of Australia. Dr. Ling graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree in science in 1984, received a master's degree in system engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1987 and received a Ph.D. degree in management engineering in 1991. From 1992 to 1994, Dr. Ling conducted post-doctoral research in macroeconomics in the Department of Automation of Shanghai Jiaotong University.

He is the author/editor of five books on these issues including Rethinking Voluntary Approaches in Public Environmental Policy (2005) and Responsible Investment (edited with Craig Mackenzie, 2006). He commenced his career as an overseer miner/shift boss in underground gold mining in Zimbabwe and then returned to Australia in senior open pit operational roles in coal and gold followed by Project Manager of two Cu SX/EW operations. For the last 12 years he has specialised in Asian mining developments. He has held in-country positions of General Manager Development for the feasibility, financing, construction and delivery into operations of ASX listed Kingsgate's Chatree Gold Mine in Thailand and Project Director for the construction and operations delivery for Oxiana's (ASX) Sepon Gold Mine in Laos PDR. For the last 3 1/2 years he was CEO of Philippine focussed Climax Mining Ltd (ASX) which has recently merged with New Zealand's largest gold miner, Oceana Gold. With Climax, he worked closely with Chairman Jim Askew on funding and revitalising the Company including re-engineering and permitting the 230,000 oz Au equiv pa Didipio project - now under construction. In this period there was a fifteen fold market re-rating for Climax to AUD 300 million prior to merger. He was a founding director of Asian Mineral Resources ( ASN on TSX.V) and appointed CEO in November 2006. ASN proposes to develop the Ban Phuc nickel sulphide project in Nth Vietnam after expected grant of the mining lease in early 2007.

Chris Tonkin is Head of Natural Resources in ANZ Investment Bank's Project and Structured Finance group. In addition, ANZ has arranged and participated in numerous financings for large and junior resources companies, such as Western Areas, AMCI, Resource Pacific, Lihir Gold, Hardman Resources, Emperor Mines, Austindo Resources and Perseverance Corporation and others. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA from the University of Melbourne. After commencing work in the field of project finance with the HSBC in 1981 he moved into corporate advice in stockbroking in the late 1980's prior to joining Mineral Commodities Limited in 1990 as Executive Chairman a role he undertook for ten years. During his term at Mineral Commodities, the company was involved with the significant White Foil gold discovery in Western Australia, and the Trekalano/Inheritance copper discovery in Queensland. In 2001, with colleague David Ogg, he established Royalco Resources Limited initially in the role as Managing Director, then assuming the role of Executive Chairman when the company floated on the Australian Stock Exchange in June 2006. Peter is also a director of Copper Strike Limited which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and has Teck Cominco as its largest shareholder.
