Abstract
This report analyses the important contribution that ' Green ITS' technologies can play in reducing the environmental impact of vehicles.
The report identifies the role that ITS systems could take in reducing emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases and the trials, tests and deployments that have confirmed their benefits. The report' s focus is on in-vehicle systems and the scope includes autonomous and cooperative systems.
