While single site satellite broadband Internet access services continue to attract the most attention in the industry, the classic broadband VSAT networking market for corporate and government clients in fact generates more revenue and remains the cornerstone of the broadband satellite industry. North America accounted for the largest fraction of installed and operational two-way broadband VSAT sites in 2007.
