Data Gathering
Using its innovative and advanced crawling technology, Jipingmi.com aggregates property listings from various real estate websites in China. Each collected property listing is then analyzed and filtered to assure quality. Before data is inserted into the Jipingmi database, Jipingmi.com filters out invalid and duplicate entries. Using this aggregation and quality assurance process, during the first 6 months of 2008, Jipingmi has aggregated over 3.5 million property listings from more then 100 websites across China.
Data Aggregation and Analysis
After data was collected and added to the Jipingmi database further steps were taken by Maverick China Research to identify any inconsistencies, errors, duplicates, or invalid cases. Data was then imported into statistical software (SPSS), analyzed, and the report written.
