Abstract
The report is devoted to studying of market of silica brick in Russia and forecast of its development. The report includes 6 Sections, 122 pages, including 27 Tables, 16 Figures and 4 Appendices. The report is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official domestic railage statistics of Ministry of Railways of Russia, data of companies, the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of companies, web-sites of company-producers and consumers of silica brick were used.
The first Section of the report describes mineral resources base for production of silica brick its characteristics and reserves of the greatest deposits of the resources.
The second Section describes properties of silica brick, presents in details technology of production of silica brick and required equipment, statistic and estimated data on volumes of production of silica brick in Russia from 1999 to 2007. The Section also describes current standing of company-producers of silica brick and new projects on production of silica brick in Russia.
The third Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade in silica brick in Russia for 1997-2006 and estimate for 2007.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of prices on silica brick at Russian market in 2005-2007, and dynamics of export-import prices on the products in Russia in 1998-2006 and estimate for 2007.
The fifth Section is devoted to consumption of silica brick in Russia. It presents supply-demand balance of silica brick and estimates sectoral and regional structure of the products consumption, as well as describes key end-uses of silica brick.
The sixth Section presents forecast and prospects of development of the silica brick market up to 2015, as well as forecast of development of the key and-uses of silica brick.
The Appendices present GOSTs (State Standards) on production of silica brick, as well as contact enterprises on leading company-producers of silica brick in Russia.
