Abstract
China is currently a major country of automobile production and consumption. Due to an increase in China' s automobile production capacity, and the Chinese government' s efforts to stimulate car electronics demand and improve related technologies through industry policies, the Chinese car electronics market has grown dramatically. This report discusses China' s policies and regulations on car electronics such as car safety systems, audiovisual devices, and navigation systems. Interviews with companies mentioned in this report were a major source of information for this research. The report will show that low energy consumption and environmental friendliness will play critical roles in the future development of China' s car electronics market.
