Abstract

This IDC study discusses the findings of a QuickPoll survey fielded in April 2008 to gauge organizations' plans and priorities for investment in their public (externally facing) Web site(s) and assess the impact that these will have on the Web content management market over the next year.

"Organizations appear to be continuing to invest in their public Web sites at a very healthy level, despite the weakness in the overall economy," said Melissa Webster, IDC program vice president for Content and Digital Media Technologies. "Our survey results suggest that Web content management vendors will continue to see a high level of opportunity in organizations of all sizes."
