Abstract
This IDC study provides a competitive analysis of the high end of the Western European IT and business services market in 2007. It ranks the top 10 services providers and compares their revenue lines across IDC' s services macro-markets.
"Logica, Accenture, and Capgemini are the three players in the top 10 that won market share in 2007, confirming our view that a consulting-led sales approach like the one implemented by Accenture, and now also by Capgemini, is proving to be successful. Logica, on the other hand, won market share on the back of acquisitions but with very low organic growth," said Research Manager Laura Converso, IDC European Software and Services. "For 2008, we foresee more consolidation in the market and this might include vendors at the high end of the ranking."
