Abstract
This IDC study shows that 2007 was a break out year for enterprise social networking with much faster than expected growth as leading adopters started to reveal their early success and a number of robust enterprise solutions emerged. "Market growth in 2007 was 191% showing that enterprises are indeed finding value in deploying social networking solutions to address a wide variety of business processes," said Rachel Happe, IDC' s research manager, Digital Business Economy.
