"Personal IP communications is the future of real-time communications for the individual user. The amount of interest and innovation surrounding this emerging market is staggering," says Rebecca Swensen, research analyst for IDC' s VoIP Services. "By 2012, IDC predicts that total active subscribers using VoIP in this market will be more than 320 million."
