Abstract
This IDC study presents our adjusted worldwide and regional forecasts for the
server market through 2012.
"IDC' s server market forecast has been adjusted to reflect the most recent
economic conditions, which could lead to slower-than-expected results in the
short term," said Steve Josselyn, research director, IDC Enterprise Server
Systems. "We continue to monitor the impact of higher oil prices, the weakening
U.S. dollar, and volatility in financial markets around the world as a guide to
help lead our forecasts in these uncertain times."
