Abstract
This IDC study provides an overview of enterprises' current use and future deployments of Internet access services, broadband, and IP VPNs as well as IP application adoption across the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region.
"Multinational corporations (MNCs) fall into the category of sophisticated users where telecommunications is a key functionality in their operations. It is more challenging to secure communication service accounts with MNCs as most of the decision making comes from the home country where global deals are prearranged. Thus, understanding their communication demands and usage trends are key factors in penetrating this segment," says Claus Mortensen, principal, Emerging Technologies Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
