Abstract
This IDC study forecasts the federation software market and examines the trends
and standards development scenarios that are shaping this market. In
particular, the solidification of standards has served to move this market
forward over the past 12 months.
"IDC continues to see healthy growth for the federation software market," says
Sally Hudson, research director for IDC' s Identity and Access Management
products. "As the technology continues to mature over the forecast period, it
will be essential to continue to educate and reassure participants and
