Abstract
This IDC Vendor Profile focuses on PTC' s FlexPLM product line addressing the retail, footwear, and apparel (RFA) industry. The company leverages the product life-cycle management capabilities of its Windchill product line into RFA. This document describes PTC' s entrance into the RFA market - its initial OEM relationship and later acquisition of Aptavis and its customer collaborations with companies such as Nike, Liz Claiborne, and Nordstrom for continuing product development. IDC contacted PTC client Liz Claiborne to find out about its experiences with PTC' s FlexPLM product and customer support.
