Abstract
In this IDC study, IDC services analysts come together to review the current year and discuss the emerging trends and market changes that will impact and drive the future of the IT services market. One of the outcomes of this process is a short list of our top 10 predictions for the coming year. The list, discussed in this study, includes factors that IDC believes will have the biggest commercial impact on the services market across Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ in 2008.
"The nature of the region makes it potentially a golden pot of opportunity for vendors that are prepared to innovate, with sufficient pitfalls to trip up those that cannot deliver in a cost-effective and customer-centric manner," says Philip Carter, associate research director, IT Services Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
