Abstract
This IDC study provides a detailed analysis of the production color opportunity by end-user customer segment, including in-plants, CRDs, walk-up environments, commercial printers, quick printers, service bureaus, and converters/label printers. The study also segments the product categories into three areas: light-, mid-, and full-production equipment. Forecasts are provided for shipments, installed base, average monthly print volumes (AMPVs), and total annual print volumes (TAPVs).
"This market is seeing impressive growth, driven by shifts in market needs, new technology and, ultimately, end customers and print purchasers. In particular, mid- and full-production equipment will see strong double-digit growth over the forecast period." - Riley McNulty, research manager for IDC' s Production and Large Format Printing service
